Crisp Bullet Holes

Here's a handy tip that makes it easier to measure your 5 shot groups.   Place a fresh piece of cardboard (with no holes in it) directly behind your target.   This backing material will make the bullet holes in your target appear much more crisp and clear.   If you measure your groups center-to-center, you'll appreciate how much easier it will be to get accurate measurements.

This sounds like a very obvious thing to do, but you'll be surprised to see how many shooters don't take the time to do it.   Every once in a while, we all shoot a group that's a real screamer.   You'll feel even better about it, if it doesn't look like a raggedy, jagged hole.
